The latest version of the phone iPhone 4S has one gigahertz processor, which speeds up the phone very much.

Kyocera Milano Review

Kyocera Milano has excellent physical keyboard and comes with mobile hot-spot, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system. The phone’s quality is affected by the small display which lacks brightness and clarity. It is definitely an affordable Android smart phone, but customers using sprint can go for better options at competitive prices.

Kyocera have released a dual-screen smart phone sometime back, known as Kyocera Echo which did not enjoy good sales in market due to wacky design. The company is trying to re-enter into mobile market in US with its Android smart phone with Milano. This small and cheap handset has all essential applications and features of an entry-level smart phone like Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth etc and runs with Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS. The phone is available for a cheap price of 29.99 USD and is affordable for all people who are budget minded.

Kyocera Milano is not just a messaging phone but it has all multimedia features of a smart phone. The dimensions are 4.1x2.4x0.7 inches and the phone has a dull finish with few noticeable features. There is shiny plastic bezel surrounding the front display while back is covered with soft touch material which curved slightly such that the phone naturally fits inside the hand. It might have compact and cute form factor at 1^st glance but it’s heavier at 5.6 ounces. The phone’s display is very small and measures three inches diagonally.

The screen makes a big disappointment as it’s very small. The 3 inch touch screen with QVGA display of 320x240 pixels is not good for multimedia. The graphics appears fuzzy in edges and text appears choppy. Majority of Android applications are not attractive with the low resolution display. The capacitive touch screen is responsive while swiping and tapping.

It has a simple user interface similar to Vanilla Android with some minor changes. There are various wallpapers and widgets based on the installed theme. The usual shortcut keys for Back, Menu, Search and Home function are present below the display. Though buttons look small, Milano has extra physical keyboard as alternative for touch sensitive buttons. The micro USB charging port and volume rocker are present on left side while camera button is present on right spine. The 3.5mm headphone jack is present on top of the phone while camera lens is present at backside. The QWERTY keyboard is very good for messaging and display switches from landscape to portrait on rotating the phone. The battery life is decent with talk time of 7.7 hours and it has 1490mAh battery installed in it. Kyocera Milano is good entry level Android smart phone at very cheap price suitable for budget-minded users.
